Thank you for your Sept. 2 article on the terrible treatment of a Rottweiler. It brought to light the horror that animals are often forced to endure at the hands of man. Alaska's wolves and bears go through this on a regular basis, disguised as necessary predator control, purely for mankind's monetary benefit.
