Wolf Song of Alaska News

Unbalanced Article

Letters / Fairbanks Daily News-Miner / August 19, 2008

To the editor:

Shame on the News-Miner for giving the top headline to the crummy Associated Press newswire story on the so-called "wolf pup cover up" top headlines in the Tuesday, Aug. 12, paper.

The story made a feeble attempt at balance and left the allegations of illegal action by Alaska Department of Fish and Game hanging. The whole wolf pup story looks like an attempt by anti-Proposition 2 forces at gaining publicity prior to the election and the News-Miner bought it. As if no one realized that wolves have their pups in spring and would be included in the control program. Give me a break!
