Board Asks Hunters, Trappers for Input

JUNEAU -- The Alaska Board of Game is taking proposals for hunting and trapping regulation changes in Southeast Alaska.

The Board of Game is the state's regulatory authority for most animals.

The board makes decisions on bag limits and how animals can be taken.

Besides regulations in Southeast Alaska, the Game Board is accepting proposed regulation changes for the taking of black bears in the game management unit in the Fort Yukon area.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Aug. 15.
