Aerial Hunting of Bears, Wolves is a Lazy Hunter's Way to Cheat

Letters / Anchorage Daily News / March 31, 2008

I have two words to describe aerial shooting of wolves and bears: laziness and cheating. The only time airplanes should be involved is to drop off and pick up hunters after their so many days out in the wild. Get them off their fat duffs and hunting like real, true outdoor sportsmen. Track through deep snow and whatever the elements bring to hunt -- on the ground. Bona fide hunters, wherever they're from, will hunt on the ground like legitimate hunters should.

A word of advice: If you are going to use an airplane, then use it for going on vacation, like to Hawaii.
