Inane Comment From an Employee of PETA

Letters / Friends of Animals / April 5, 2008

It's particularly damaging and insensitive for PETA's Christine Martin to recommend a birth control program for wolves as a way of arguing against aerial wolf-shooting.

In short, the wolves don't need population control, yet homo sapiens would benefit from birth control efforts.  Earth to PETA:  Free-living wolves are not domesticated dogs in need of vigorous spay-neuter efforts.  Also, deer and other animals in nature don't need to be controlled by a species that has such difficulty in controlling itself.

Kindly leave them alone, and offer some peace to the thousands of dogs and cats PETA removes for destruction each year.
