It's particularly damaging and insensitive for PETA's Christine Martin to recommend a birth control program for wolves as a way of arguing against aerial wolf-shooting.
In short, the wolves don't need population control, yet homo sapiens would benefit from birth control efforts. Earth to PETA: Free-living wolves are not domesticated dogs in need of vigorous spay-neuter efforts. Also, deer and other animals in nature don't need to be controlled by a species that has such difficulty in controlling itself.
Kindly leave them alone, and offer some peace to the thousands of dogs and cats PETA removes for destruction each year.
