Alaska Wildlife Alliance
Urgently Need Your Support!
For the third time, Alaskans will be voting to ban aerial wolf killing. The vote on this initiative is less than 6 months away. The Alaska Wildlife Alliance
will be fighting an uphill battle against super-funded trophy hunting interests
such as the Alaska Outdoor Council and Safari Club International. On top of that, at Governor Sarah Palin's request, $400,000 of Alaska's public money was given to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game for an educational (propaganda!) campaign designed to promote aerial wolf killing.
We need significant financial support to counter these super-rich special interest groups. Your generous donation will help AWA launch an informational campaign to pass this initiative and protect Alaska's wolves from the barbaric and unscientific practice of allowing hunters to shoot from planes.
You can help AWA provide a voice for Alaska's wolves!
The vast majority of Alaskans and visitors support the nonconsumptive uses of wildlife, such as photography, research and viewing.
Don't let the deep pockets of rich trophy hunters defeat the will of the majority of Alaskans and visitors. We simply cannot allow these narrowly focused special interests to silence the howls of Alaska's wolves!
**Note: Aerial hunting of bears in Alaska has been authorized. If passed, this initiative will protect bears from aerial hunters as well!
