Silence Perpetuates Intolerance, Sends Message it's OK to Insult

Just as there is no such thing as humane slaughter, there also is no such thing as humane trapping. This is a barbaric practice that ends in suffering and torture of many animals. True, respect for any animal would be to let it live and respect its right to live. Nowadays, it is especially unnecessary to kill any animal for its fur or food. We have supposedly come out of our caves, I would think - us being in the 21st century? Or am I mistaken here?
I am disgusted every time I hear about trapping, hunting etc. The real guys for me are those who would never harm any animal.
My father is a veterinarian, and as such, I have learned to love animals and to be their advocate in their own right to live.
