To the editor:

Again I will respond to Art Greenwalt: In Unit 13, the predator program is working; a growing percentage of baby moose now survive, along with baby caribou and baby sheep.

At the same time, the wolf population is healthy. This knowledge is gleaned from thousands of miles of groundwork, visible to the human eye. So much for that. Your recent "letter" mentioned the "Society of Mammalogists," from the "bylaws and rules of the Society of Mammalogists," under "Article 1, No substantial part of the Society's activities will consist of carrying on propaganda or otherwise attempting to influence legislation, or of participating in any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office."

Art Greenwalt disgraces his sources. His political mudslinging and lack of respect for respectable organizations brings him to the cheapest level of character amongst Alaskans.
