Wolf Pups Join Zoo Pack

Lauren Maxwell / CBS  / KTVA / Channel 11 / June 4, 2006

The Alaska Zoo's got some new babies to brag about. They have six newborn wolf pups. They are being kept from public view for the next couple of days.

The pups were found near McGrath. Area biologists helped to remove them from a den where no adults were found.

The zoo says they have experience raising wolves in captivity and are happy to have the new pups as part of the zoo. The public should be able to see them in about a week or so.
