If You're Going to Control Predators, Do Something About the Humans

Letters / Anchorage Daily News / May 6, 2005

Why is predator control so important to the Alaskan people? Did anyone stop and think that these animals were put here for a reason? And people are also the cause of the loss of moose. They are killed by trains and other vehicles every day. So should we go around shooting people because they are the cause of dying moose too? Let's leave the innocent animals alone, letting them live the way they were meant to live in their natural habitat and letting them die the way nature intended.
