Feral Should be Howling About Deaths of Humans, Not Wolves

Letters to the Editor / Anchorage Daily News / December 19, 2004

How ironic for Priscilla Feral and like-minded associates ("Airplanes should be used to carry groceries, not for shooting wolves," Dec. 12) that the tanker carrying vegetarian groceries (soybeans) wrecked and spilled an unknown amount of oil ("Young, government-established company owned ship," Dec. 11). For those whose "survival and well-being are interwoven with that of every other living being," the loss of human life and potential demise of countless marine birds and mammals should be a much greater tragedy than the harvesting of a relatively few wolves.
