A Board of Wildlife Would Offer a Wide Range of Alaskans' Views

Letters to the Editor / Anchorage Daily News / December 12, 2004

Reading Karen Deatherage's insightful Compass piece on Dec. 6, "Wolf control programs are ill-advised", once again reminds me how desperately our state needs a Board of Wildlife! A board that would represent the broad range of Alaskans' views on how best to manage wildlife, rather than the one-sided policies set by the governor and his current Board of Game.
